The second quarter of 2025 was a season of growth, connection, and continued industry leadership for The Institute for Environmental Assessment, Inc. (IEA).
🚀 Team Expansion
We were excited to welcome two new Associates across our six office locations in Brooklyn Park, Rochester, Mankato, Marshall, Brainerd, and Virginia, Minnesota. Additionally, 11 summer technicians joined the IEA team to help support our busy construction season and field service projects.
🎉 Milestone Moments
We proudly celebrated a 10-year work anniversary—a reminder of the dedication and long-standing commitment of our team members. These milestones reflect the strong culture and loyalty within our organization.

Throughout the quarter, IEA team members actively participated in several key industry events, including:
• The Minnesota Safety Conference
• Minnesota Association of School Business Officials (MASBO) Annual Conference
• Minnesota Safety Council's Regional Safety Days
• A tour of the Black Dog Xcel Energy Power Plant with the MN Chief Engineers Guild (MNCEG)

IEA was featured on a University of Minnesota podcast hosted by Neil Carlson, where we discussed indoor air quality and best practices for creating healthy learning environments—a valuable resource for facilities staff and students alike.
📢 Educational Outreach
We also had the opportunity to present "What to Expect With an OSHA Visit" to the Minnesota Cannabis Growers Cooperative, offering practical insights for compliance and preparedness.
