About the presenter, Ben
- Ben Weekley, “Boiler Ben”, is from Detroit Lakes, MN, and has been in the boiler operation business for over 35 years. During his boiler career, he has operated both steam and hot water boilers. After obtaining a Chief C Boiler license, Ben began teaching boiler operation classes in the 1990’s and has since taught hundreds of operators in northern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota. After a 30-year career in environmental and building services, Ben retired, but was never able to leave the boiler business. In January of 2021, Ben launched a YouTube channel series under the catch phrase “Boiler Ben”, which is an instructional low pressure boiler training course. The YouTube series allows Ben to teach low pressure boiler operation to people around the world from the comfort of his home.
